Two concerts coming up!

In November you get the chance to catch Istante twice!
We’re putting on two Lunchtime Concerts at our beloved Heath Street Baptist Church in Hampstead!

The first concert features an all-time favourite with the audience; the famous Schubert Octet:

November 15, 2016 at 1pm – Schubert Octet in F major

The second concert will feature a popular piece by Mozart alongside some rarely performed repertoire by Michael Haydn and Paul Wranitzky including winds and strings:

November 22, 2016 at 1pm – Mozart, Haydn, Wranitzky

Come join Istante at the St Stephen’s Festival!

Period-instrument ensemble Istante present a colourful programme of chamber works and suites by Italian composers who migrated northwards, towards Austria, France and England, bringing with them the musical taste and instrumental techniques of their homeland. Handel features as a central figure who absorbed the Italian style during his youth and championed it abroad to great acclaim.

The reviews are in!

It has been an absolutely incredible weekend for Istante at the Hampstead Baroque Festival!
Lots of fun, great musicians, lovely people and exciting music making… A big heartfelt Thank You to John Henry Baker and Nicola Barbagli for organising this madness!

And we even received a great review from Andrew Benson Wilson for our All Bach concert:
