Flavia Hirte


Flavia is a freelance flautist and teacher in London. She completed her Master’s degree at the Royal College of Music in July 2015. As a Music Talks Scholar, her studies were supported by an Ian Evans Lombe Award. Performing on historical and modern flutes, Flavia is active across Europe. Next to her regular performances as a chamber musician with Ensemble Moliere, she has played with groups like Oxford Baroque, Gabrieli Consort&Players, Musica Saeculorum and The Hannover Band. During her studies, she was part of a variety of programmes including: European Union Baroque Orchestra, The OAE Scheme, JOA and Jeune Orchestre Hector Berlioz, Dartington Baroque Orchestra, AAM Side-by-Side, Vadstena Akedmien and Brighton Early Music Live!. Upcoming performances will be in Italy, Frankfurt, Berlin, Cambridge and Brighton.
